CRETE EUROPEAN REGION OF GASTRONOMY 2026 BRANDING

The visual identity design for the Crete European Region of Gastronomy 2026 is inspired by the richness of the Cretan land, its gastronomy, and cultural heritage.

Through symbolic illustrations, vibrant color combinations drawn from Crete’s natural landscape, and typography referencing engraving and handcrafted techniques, a contemporary visual language with timeless references is created.

The identity also extends to small printed objects, such as bookmarks, bringing the design elements into everyday items in a clear and recognizable way.
